Job Details
The Payroll Research and Reporting Coordinator is responsible for all payroll-related reporting requirements and for ensuring compliance with changing regulations for all states where the Company and the affiliates' employees reside. This position balances various reports, reconciles general ledger accounts, and troubleshoots and develops reports and processes for the payroll system.

Experience Details: Minimum of 3 years of payroll or related experience is required.
Equivalent combination of education, experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards

Essential Functions
- Prepares ad hoc reporting and payroll-related reporting requirements.
- Complete forms for submission to government agencies and third parties.
- Processes quarterly reports using financial/payroll accounting software.
- Balances and reconciles related accounts to ensure accurate payment.
- Processes electronic files for wage and tax information and develops queries and reports as needed.
- Conducts research on state laws for all jurisdictions in which the Company and its affiliates' employees reside.
- Ensures continued compliance with changing regulations where employees reside and researches requirements for new locations as they arise.
- Coordinates payroll activities and provides direction to payroll staff, as needed.
- Troubleshoots, researches and identifies solutions to remedy issues.
- Provides administrative support for department assisting with audits, as necessary.
- Cross-trains on payroll and accounting functions.
- Maintains and reconciles general ledger accounts and time and labor reporting for payroll function.
