Job Details
Responsibility:
- Complete all classification skills
- Able to manage overtime and make staffing decisions
- Able to make department conscientious decisions
- Demonstrate leadership qualities as determined by BMC management
- Able to understand available KPI's and daily department reports to attain consistent company goals
- Express professional business ethics and attitude as determined by BMC Management
- Effective use of communication with customers, internal associates, and vendors
- Mentor others for the common goal
- Supervise parts associates on a daily basis including employee relations issues, training needs, overtime, vacation schedules, warehouse activities etc.
- Exhibit and lead a positive BMC customer experience
- Able to motivate through a positive attitude
- Promotes the mission and values of BMC
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A two or four year business related degree or equivalent experience and training
- Experience in agriculture, construction and truck parts
- Attentive customer service skills
- Team focused for a common goal
- Able to understand available financial information
- Responsible for handling difficult situations
- Strong oral and written communication skills to appeal to a diverse audience
- Computer knowledge depth such as Microsoft Office programs, DBS, A/X, Intranet, etc.
- Familiar with several product lines
- Prior supervisory and team experience or training preferred
- Possesses clear leadership skills
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
