The Financial Protection Accounts Receivable (AR) Payment Specialist is responsible for documenting and reconciling customer’s payments into the FACETS billing system.  The AR Payment Specialist will partner with offshore resources to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments from the vendor.  In addition, the specialist will be required to reconcile the billing and receivable to ensuring accurate payment and posting of the payments received.  The specialist will be required to perform quality auditing of billing activities as well as provide customer support and assistance via a billing email box.  In addition, the AR Payment Specialist will partner and assist the Senior Billing Analysts in resolving outstanding payments related to escalated and aging customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables

• Enter ancillary product (Life, Disability, Supplemental Health, Hospital Indemnity) payments into billing system

• Gather support data to ensure payment accuracy

• Provide quality assurance and audit of billing activities

• Monitor billing email box and provide customer support

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

• Proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new and complex computer system applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools

• Previous experience in billing or collections

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product

• Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive

• Self-directed and the ability to prioritize caseloads based on business and customer need

• Ability to multi-task and to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
