Job Description: Provides leadership and direction in the management of end-user communication platforms and services including voice, video and messaging applications. This includes, but is not limited to traditional telecommunications, call center solutions, email, mobile and smart phones, video, nurse call, mass notification, messaging and communications middleware. In addition to responsibility for human resource management, fiscal management, communication, quality improvement, and personal development, is responsible for setting technology direction in specific areas; providing leadership for planning; managing day to day activities of the Communication group; developing standards, policies and procedures; building vendor relationships; and collaborating with technical staff, internal stakeholders and technology equipment and service providers. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.

Education Qualifications:
Education and/or years experience required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems field or an equivalent Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Over 5 years' progressively responsible experience with technology systems administration, supervision/management, and technology implementation.
