Job Summary

The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst implements Human Resource practices and objectives that create an employee-oriented, high performance culture. Understands Human Resources workflows and uses strategic thinking skills to advocate for and/or implement system improvements. This position is responsible for and involved in the implementation and communication of the HRIS of Altru Health System and ensures these programs are in compliance with government laws and regulations, and organizational policies.

Essential Job Functions

Participates in human resources information systems management and serves as a liaison, super user and resource for the designated human resource information management systems and databases. Implements efficient means of data collection and maintenance. Supports software implementation or upgrades.

Ensures that programs/processes are in compliance with government regulations by staying current on compliance measures and law changes, including government filings.

Develops and maintains strong business partnerships with the Altru Health System Leadership team. Understands organization's structure and business processes. Fosters collaborative relationships.

Provides guidance, coordination and support in the effective and consistent application of our policies and procedures.

Generates regular and special reports regarding employee demographics and employment information. Identifies and prioritizes information needs, researches best practice solutions, compiles and organizes information, creates tables, spreadsheets, graphs, reports and presentations.

Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

  • Demonstrates understanding and follows infection control policies and procedures according to standard operating procedure.
  • Maintains requirements for age specific competencies for the position and demonstrates the knowledge or principles of growth and developments and the skills necessary to provide patient/customer care/services.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of and compliance with:
    • All pertinent safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines.
    • Working safely, without causing harm or risk to self, others or property.
    • The work environment safety procedures and prompt reporting of unsafe practices, procedures, accidents, injuries or other safety violations to the Leader.
    • The use of all safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
