Job Information

Support research and development of innovative technologies that can improve current products and processes or create new business opportunities. Pilot and test new business hypotheses. with concepts, Summarize, assess and document feedback to accelerate development of concepts.

Role & Responsibility

Concept Evaluation Activities
  • Organize activities or events that facilitate feedback on concepts or prototypes related to the application of defined technologies, concepts, or products.
  • Concept evaluations will occur through various development stages from Proof of Concept (PoC) to
  • Minimally Viable Concept or Prototype (MVC/MVP) to small pilot programs and limited launches.
  • Activities and events may be within company or external to dealers and/or customers.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of appropriate feedback and documentation tools to properly evaluate innovation hypotheses.
  • Recommend quantity, types of customers and locations for evaluations.
  • Determine group(s) necessary to provide feedback – internal vs. dealers vs. customer.
  • Follow up with group(s) to gather, summarize and present results, comments and feedback.
  • Update business canvas with new information gathered throughout a project.
  • Assist with providing relevant data to update and validate business case.
  • Through the feedback gathering process, provide potential recommendations for future channels or outlets through which potential commercial solutions would be distributed.
  • Gather feedback on concepts that will help estimate value (price) to customers/ stakeholders.
  • Work with relevant business functions to ensure appropriate representation of stakeholders or customer segments.
  • Support development of the list of relevant stakeholders (customers and/or dealers) required to evaluate select concepts or technologies.


Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or equivalent
  • Experience Required: 1>5 Years
  • Travel Required: 25-50%
  • Analytical skills to evaluate and understand data and provide recommendations on processes and product design.
  • Utililize audio and video recording equipment to capture interactions with customers, dealers and products.
  • Ability to think outside the “box” and a strong desire to stay on the cutting edge of technology and
  • innovation strategies including evaluation and implementation of new tools/process.
  • Record of success in previous data collection and analysis.
  • Training/facilitation experience with ability to evaluate and utilize multiple tools to stimulate creative thinking.
  • Bobcat product knowledge, preferred.
  • Previous construction or agriculture experience, preferred.
  • Previous agile project experience, preferred.
  • Previous experience in conducting research, analyzing and interpreting data, preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing demands.
  • Ability to effectively work and collaborate with individuals at all levels across the organization and external to the company.

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have?

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
•These are entry level opportunities
•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
