This role’s primary functions include both HRBP Support and COE—Org Effectiveness support.

HRBP Support: Implement Human Resource strategies and provide a broad range of Human Resources Generalist functions to support the goals and objectives of the business. Provide consultation on content and process to individual managers or client groups in areas including but not limited to: employee relations, policies and procedures, benefits, compensation, performance management, employee development, staffing and organizational change.

COE Support: Drive effective organizational effectiveness plans engaging all key stakeholders to execute framework that ensures repeatable success and promotes business optimization. Provide direct support of org culture, org structure and change processes, methodology and tool utilization.

Role & Responsibility

Lead and Manage Special Projects
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional ad-hoc projects and teams to support HR and business needs.
  • KPI: Successful project completion (meet project goals and timeline).

Provide Support to Functional Employees and Supervisors
  • Plan and administer HR support to support the goals of the organization such as employment practices, transfers, promotions and terminations, performance appraisal and counseling.
  • Assure conformance to all applicable legal and governmental regulations and requirements.
  • Assure equitable and effective development, communication and administration of organizational policies and procedures.
  • KPI: Positive and constructive employee relations. Empowered and knowledgeable managers.

Employee Relations
  • Provide guidance and counsel to employees and supervisors relative to policy administration and interpretation.
  • Conduct investigations as needed.
  • Conduct various HR-related training classes.
  • KPI: Employee satisfaction. Employee retention and referral.

Talent Selection, Assessment, Management, Development & Retention
  • Assist client groups in determining appropriate staffing levels, recruitment resources, and objective selection techniques.
  • Recruit, interview, and participate in the selection process.
  • Assist managers with talent management, succession planning and development discussions, employee training opportunities and continuing education.
  • KPI: Staffing levels. Job Fill Rates. Successful Year End Process.

Organizational Effectiveness
  • Assist OE team in assessing business needs considering people, process & culture.
  • Identify and apply the most efficient tools, processes and methodology to define resolution and support implementation of change management, appropriate solutions and next steps.
  • Support employee survey implementation and action planning activities to discover organizational issues and address root causes.
  • Obtain and complete data analysis to discover & respond to organizational needs and achieve desired outcomes.
  • KPI: Timely execution and support of OE initiatives in alignment with business strategy goals. Successfully engaged key stakeholders. Framework and toolset identified and available to stakeholders. Employee Engagement Scores.


Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related major
  • Certifications: PHR/SPHR, PROSCI preferred
  • Experience: 7-10 years
  • Travel:
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing employee relations practices
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interface professionally with individuals at all levels within the organization
  • PC Skills, Excel, Oracle, Power Point
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • High level of customer service skills

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have?

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
•These are entry level opportunities
•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
