Invoicing SpecialistInvoicing Specialist - Corporate

Overview: Butler Machinery is a third generation family-owned company, proudly serving our communities since 1955. Our mission is to build long term relationships with our customers, founded on trust, generating mutual growth and success.

Responsibility:
•Compiles data and prepare invoices for all machinery sale transactions.
•Works with Store Managers and Sales Personnel to maintain records on machine activity.
•Sets up in the system machinery that is being traded-in.
•Backs up invoicing duties for the Rental Department to include: finalize invoices at the end of rent and figures excess hours.
•May assist with invoicing duties for other departments as needed.
•Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.
•Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
•Applicant must have good computer skills in Microsoft products plus the ability to learn internal systems.
•This person should have good communication and written skills; along with basic to mid-level accounting knowledge.
•Two or four year business related degree or equivalent experience and training are preferred.
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondences, and procedure manuals.
•Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
•Ability to perform basic and more complicated mathematic fundamentals (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals).
•Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
•Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
