Part Time Welder in Bismarck, ND

Are you currently exploring a welding degree?  Do you enjoy working in a goal-oriented, team environment?  If so, Kelly Services has an immediate part-time welder opening in Bismarck, ND. This position will work part-time (20-30 hours) during the school year and full-time hours during the summer. Pay is $19/hour+ DOE.

Duties:

• Sets up electrode wire per procedure to prepare welding equipment for operation
• Strikes arc and manually guides electrode or gun along weld line to form specified depth of fusion and bead
• Cleans, degreases and inspects weld joint or work piece using power equipment as needed
• Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations
• Use side grinder to clean up all grinding splatter and insuring quality surfaces near weld zone
• Keeps work area clean, orderly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to pass practical weld assessment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Capability to follow a predefined product design instruction
• Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly
• Ability to work under time restraints
• Ability to work overtime on Saturdays, as needed
• Currently pursuing a welding or related field degree
