Department: 14270 Ambulance
Job Description: The Instructor coordinates, schedules and ensures proper completion of specialized course as assigned. Provides instruction for one or more courses such as CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, EMR, EMT, TASER, CPI, etc. In this capacity the instructor reports to the EMS Director and operates under the supervision of the EMS Supervisor and the Education Coordinator for timely completion of certification cards as appropriate. This person is responsible for setup and also cleaning and maintenance of training equipment, and cleanup following each course.
Work Experience:
Prior experience instructing the designated course content and experience in a patient care is preferred.

No educational requirement.
Licensure/CertificationQualifications:
Holds and maintains advanced instructor certification for appropriate for course assigned. ( i.e. ACLS, PALS, CPI, TASER, CPR/BLS, etc.)
