The Epic Instructional Designer I develops and maintains current Epic course curricula. This position builds, tests, and maintains the training environment, and delivers curricula to end users.

Essential Job Functions

Title and Description

Epic I - Developing

Develops and maintains current Epic course curricula and supporting training materials. Builds, tests and maintains the training environment.

Epic I - Build

Analyzes Epic build to ensure that workflows are supported in an efficient, organized manner that results in high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.

Epic I - Styles

Delivers Epic curricula to end users using training strategies that meet a variety of learning styles while checking for understanding.

Epic I - Collaboration

Collaborates with other instructional designers, analysts, super users, and regional partners to improve Epic functionality and training.

Epic I - Questions

Answers Epic functionality questions from managers and end users, researching answers and possibilities with build team and Epic resources when necessary.

Other Duties

Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
