CAREER SPECIALIST

Job Summary

• Utilize Discovery Process to provide individual employment placement with Employers and job coaching people with disabilities.  Training provided in Discovery Process.
• Coordinate communication, reporting, goal tracking and annual meetings
• Full and part-time; variable hours weekdays between 7:00am-8:00pm; some weekend hours
• Starting wage: $14.42-$15.75 DOQ

Requirements

• Must be reliable with access to reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must have four (4) year post-secondary education in social work, sociology, human services or a related field
• Two (2) years of experience working with people with disabilities OR a combination of 2 years related education and 4 years related experience.
• Ability to work independently as a member of a team
• Strong communication skills; computer proficient
