This position supervises, monitors, and coordinates the 340B Drug Program, the Critical Access Hospital Telepharmacy program, drug purchasing and inventory, and pharmacy involvement in the congestive heart program for Altru Health System. Areas of responsibility include direct oversight and management of drug purchasing including, but not limited to, ensuring all drug purchases are maximizing 340B pricing and at the lowest cost; inventory processes as applicable; various monthly reporting to multiple stakeholders; split billing software maintenance; comprehensive auditing and oversight of all auditing processes for the 340B Drug Program; oversight of all contract pharmacies to ensure legal and Altru Health System-specific compliance requirements are met; and all other areas of regulatory compliance involving the above areas.
Areas of the 340B Drug Program responsibility, in additional to the above, include oversight of the 340B Pharmacy Technician and their responsibilities, 340B contract pharmacy relationship management, third-party administrator 340B integrity, accurate record keeping, HRSA database updates and changes, and high attention to finite details. This position is also responsible for development and implementation of any and all necessary updates or changes, in consultation with the Pharmacy Manger, of all aspects of the 340B Program as well as the Telepharmacy Program in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. As a supervisor, this position will hold the responsibility of being a leader within Altru Health System and will be trained to perform and respond to situations as a leader. This position is also that of a working supervisor and the expectation is this position will be available to fill pharmacists shifts as needed.

Sup - Daily Activities
Supports and supervises personnel involved in daily activities involving regular and 340b purchasing/inventory, critical access hospital telepharmacy services, pharmacy medical home activities and pharmacy involvement in the congestive heart failure program(s).
Budget
Advises Manager of significant and/or unexpected variances. Demonstrates an understanding of the budget and assists the Manager in keeping within fiscal parameters. Assists the Manager in requests for capital expenditures.
Sup - Audits
Establishes and performs/oversees quality assurance audits on all aspects of the organization's 340B program on continuous basis including contract pharmacy operations, financial transactions and patient/ provider qualifications.
Sup - Liaison
Serves as the liaison for 340B software vendors and wholesale distributors to manage and oversee compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Time & Attendance
Carries out time and attendance responsibilities according to established procedure. Coordinates staffing and scheduling duties in accordance with established procedure and practices.
Human Resources
Participates in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and job descriptions. Serves as a resource for staff and physicians regarding policies, procedures, and practices. Carries out the hiring process for Manager-approved positions. Provides information and makes recommendations to the Manager on disciplinary action and separation related decisions. Promotes continuous staff participation in the performance review process.
Reporting & Efficiency
Completes reporting and record keeping requirements accurately and within established timelines. Monitors services for efficiency and accuracy by evaluating, initiating and participating in restructuring of current and new procedures, services, and/or programs.
Goals
Develops and implements short term goals and is responsible for measurable outcomes and effective use of resources. Responsible for program and service development in response to both internal and external stakeholders.
Other Duties
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
Demonstrates understanding and follows infection control policies and procedures according to standard operating procedure.
