Job Details
The Retail Pharmacy Technician prepares new prescription orders and refills for outpatients in this setting. The technician is involved in all aspects of order intake, data entry and prescription preparation up until the final pharmacist check. This role serves not only patients discharging from the hospital, but also outpatients, Altru staff, delivery patients and Hospice-enrolled patients. There are areas of growth in the bedside medication delivery and specialty pharmacy areas as well. The Pharmacy Technician will use their strong communications skills to be able to work alongside coworkers and other Altru team members to deliver world-class healthcare to the residents of our region.
