The Investment Accountant/Analyst will provide a variety of accounting and financial services, including preparing various financial reports, reviewing fixed asset records, and performing financial analyses. This individual will support the Chief Financial Officer in his/her mission to accomplish organizational initiatives and financial strategies.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Financial Statement Preparation. Prepares financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. Collects, organizes, and retains statement support information. * Prepares covenant reporting for review by the CFO prior to distribution to lenders.
* Financial Analysis and Financial Modeling. Performs analyses of financial results compared to organizational objectives; builds and develops financial models for various business initiatives.
* Portfolio Reporting. Downloads transaction activity, runs reports, inputs prices and transactions as needed, and reconciles broker statements. Maintains investment reporting software.
* Tax Information Accumulation, Reconciliation, and Accounting. Accumulates and reconciles tax information, processes tax forms, keeps records of tax payments and reconciles them to the general ledger and tax return documents.
* Business Administration. Performs a variety of administrative tasks in order to maintain and retain business agreements and documents, including business entity filings and registrations; tracks notes payable/receivable; and updates various organizational databases.
* Special projects, as needed, related to business and investment objectives.

Candidate Requirements:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required. Three to five years of experience in public accounting is preferred. CPA Certification is a plus.
* Experience performing financial analyses and creating financial models; must have a thorough understanding of IRR and related calculations.
* Exceptional skills and expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Highly-effective verbal and written communication skills; excellent analytical and organizational skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with co-workers and critical business partners.
