Job Summary:

The Fleet Operations Administrator (FOA) will serve as the coordinator of the Cirrus SR2x and SF50 corporate aircraft fleet. The FOA will receive, fulfill, and respond to all corporate aircraft requests and is responsible for scheduling and coordinating company pilots, passengers, aircraft service and support in the make and model of company aircraft appropriate for the mission required. This includes dispatching and monitoring the use of Cirrus flying club aircraft activity. The FOA will ensure that flights are performed within applicable regulations and Cirrus policies and procedures considering pilot duty and rest periods, aircraft limitations, pilot authorizations, and aircraft utility. The FOA will monitor and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance requirements and will manage and report on the status and forecast for both Duluth and Knoxville-based aircraft as well as demonstration aircraft worldwide. Continuous daily upkeep and monitoring of aircraft Hobbs times, avionics subscription status, and maintenance status is also required. This includes aircraft lease back account reporting and department budget analysis/submission contributions. The FOA will be available during normal business hours, as well as 24/7 via mobile device. This position is assigned to Knoxville, TN.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent and professional service for our customers and employees
  • Take every opportunity to promote flight safety
  • Serve as the real time dispatch function when issuing custody of corporate and Cirrus flying club aircraft
  • Continuously manage the real-time aircraft location update system
  • Ensure all Cirrus owned and managed aircraft are maintained in an airworthy condition and strategically forecast as well as coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
  • Ground aircraft as necessary for airworthiness issues, coordinate maintenance actions, and adjust flight schedules as necessary
  • Coordinate with the Sales Team to manage all aspects of Cirrus demonstrator aircraft, to include fleet size, strategic location and forecasting, demo acceptances, avionics subscriptions, insurance, flight logging and accounting functions, and coordination for leaseback termination
  • Receive, fulfill, respond to, and manage flight requests for corporate flight operations, sales and demonstration support, and internal pilot training
  • Manage currency records of all company pilots. Coordinate to ensure that all pilots comply with Cirrus currency requirements. Proactively notify and schedule Company pilot recurrency events
  • Schedule flights with pilots, instructors, and aircraft in accordance with regulations and Cirrus policies and procedures
  • Monitor aircraft flight and hobbs times to ensure accuracy and timeliness of flight logging. Provide regular reporting to delivery advisory team and the accounting department
  • Generate monthly reports on fleet and pilot activity
  • Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform customer delivery presentations and flights
  • Ensure corporate fleet aircraft is demo ready
  • Other responsibilities as required
  • Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or military aviation flight operations/maintenance control experience
  • Prior aviation or other commercial fleet dispatch education and/or experience preferred
  • Commercial pilot or greater preferred, no minimum flight time required
  • Graduate from a 14 CFR part 65 dispatcher course preferred; or degree in aviation management; or commercial fleet dispatcher course or equivalent experience
  • Customer service experience essential
