Job Details

The Flight Operations Intern will gain experience in many different areas within the Flight Operations department while gaining professional experience with a global leader in general aviation manufacturing. The Flight Operations Intern's primary responsibility will be supporting The Flight Training Advisors and Fleet Administrator with their day to day responsibilities. Some of these responsibilities include, record keeping, invoicing and billing, and assisting with fleet coordination.

Essential Duties:
  • Participate as a member of a team of professional and dedicated employees.
  • Provide support through administrative processes within the Flight Operations department.
  • Support Flight Operations during the EAA AirVenture airshow in Oshkosh, WI,
  • Develop skills vitally important in today's fast-paced work environment including analytical skills, team-based interaction, goal setting and strategic planning, the ability to work under pressure, listening and organizational skills, among others
  • Assist the Flight Training Advisors with customer billing, contractor invoice processing, and efficient records keeping processes.
  • Prepares and distributes invoices for both customer training and revenue training events.
  • Facilitate and support the Fleet Administrator with maintenance scheduling and invoicing on delivery and corporate aircraft.
  • Make timely and accurate decisions regarding customer requests while keeping company budget objectives and the customer's financial impact in mind.
  • Assist in managing customer requests and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Learn administrative and business management skills in a professional and friendly aviation atmosphere.

Education and/or Experience:
  • College student with emphasis in aviation administration, business management, finance or accounting.
  • Additional Skills
    • Good research and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and writing skills.
    • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.
    • Exceptional attention to detail.
