Clinic Primary Scribe LPN/CMA

Lakewood Health System has an opening for a full-time Clinic Primary Scribe LPN/CMA.  This position will be located in our Eagle Valley, Browerville and Staples Clinics.

The Clinic Primary Scribe will be responsible for assisting with patient flow by escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining and recording vital statistics, reviewing / updating patient records for allergies and medications following a standard rooming process and assisting with the care team with various in basket tasks.

The Clinic Primary Scribe will accurately document provider assessment, orders and patient conversations into the EMR at the time of visit.  Provider will review the EMR and sign at the conclusion of the visit.

This is a full-time position working 64 to 80 hours per pay period between the hours 7:00AM – 5:00PM.

Qualifications

1. Current MN LPN Licensure or CMA Certification

2. Current BLS certification

3. Excellent communication and typing skills

4. EPIC EHR experience preferred

5. Previous Scribe experience preferred, but not required.
