Exposure to different elements of supplier responsibility which would include fundamentals from our pricing, quoting, Product Management and Asset/Procurement teams.

Position Overview

Responsibilities
- Understand competitive Markets trends
- Comprehend Digi-Key's product offering
- Gain knowledge of Digi-Key's customer segmentation
- Review of sales orders for margin analysis
- Gain appreciation and a basic understanding of Quoting rules
- Prepare and analyze inventory overstock/under buy reports
- Create forecast adjustments and parameter recommendations as necessary per current market trends
- Involvement with Digi-Key's new product launch process
- Prepare and analyze data for supplier visits
- Complete an end of internship project - mini presentation of Digi-Key's business model (what was learned)
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Minimum/Essential Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled as an undergrad student working towards a degree in Marketing, Management, finance or accounting
- Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen
- Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
- Must demonstrate the following behavioral competencies: attention to detail, communication, customer/client focus, ethical conduct, initiative, manages execution, personal effectiveness/credibility, positive attitude, problem solving, professionalism, project management, thoroughness & time management
