EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.

Certificates, Licenses & Designations

Must meet licensing requirements as prescribed by the Tribal State Compact for Gaming.

Minimum Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Knowledge of and skill in using a personal computer and related software including Excel, Word, Outlook, Customer Database System and Maestro.
• Knowledge of the casino’s rates, packages, deadlines, promotions, rules and procedures.
• Knowledge of and ability to apply commonly accepted rules of grammar, spelling and punctuation in written communication to develop management reports and summaries.
• Skill of receiving a message, understanding the intended message and giving feedback to ensure guest expectation are met.
• Skill of determining alternatives that would correct a situation to provide effective guest service.
• Skill in operating office equipment including copier, fax machine, shredder, perforator, calculator and card embosser.
• Skill of developing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers.
• Skill of basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages and decimals.
• Skill in preparing written materials such as correspondence, reports and proposals to meet purpose and audience.
• Ability to occasionally stand for moderate periods of time (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to frequently sit for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to frequently walk for moderate periods of time (up to 4 hours).
