JOB SUMMARY

Supports the design and implementation of performance management program strategies, processes and tools. Facilitates and maintains organization-wide job description standardization and software, including confirmation of accurate job codes and roles, new job creation, workflow, and maintenance of competency library.
Partners in and supports performance management program design and strategy. Partners in the development of tools and resources to support managers throughout the performance management process. Works with the organization to ensure adherence of performance management processes.
Develops project plans for specific enterprise-wide performance management initiatives sponsored by Total Rewards. Maintains and communicates the annual calendar for the enterprise performance management process. Provides content and works with the marketing department to communicate performance management programs, procedures and timelines.
Tracks the effectiveness of performance management programs. Collects performance management data, analyzes trends, highlights key findings to applicable stakeholders, and suggests interventions to address widespread performance management issues. Serves as an escalation point for complex Employee Service Center (ESC) inquiries related to performance management as required. Recognizes potential growth opportunities for our leaders and provides recommendations to Talent Management on coaching and development opportunities to take forward.
Collaborates and supports Operations Leaders, Talent Acquisition (TA), Human Resources Advisors (HRAs), and Compensation with the build of new jobs, restructures, modifications, and future acquisitions to sustain job description integrity and standardization.
Additionally, collaborates with the Learning, Education, and Development (LEAD) department, to ensure integrity of Sanford's performance philosophy and competency models represented accurately. Supports enterprise-wide initiatives related to career path models and succession planning as it relates to software capabilities and connection to performance management tools.
Demonstrates the ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with other members. Displays the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Possesses strong project management skills. Exhibits knowledge of human resources and procedures, policies and guidelines. Demonstrates excellent organizational skills. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Implements a variety of cross-checking approaches and mechanisms. Identifies project management tools and requirements within own function. Identifies information within own function that cannot be disclosed. Follows established standards and procedures for operating specific HR systems. Explains organization's core performance factors and ratings. Establishes short-range and long-range improvement goals for own function. Easily shifts gears and quickly changes course as new information becomes available. Demonstrates experience participating in productive collaborative processes. Adapts language, tone, structure, and level of detail to the needs of others. Utilizes quality indicators relevant to own unit or function. Shifts focus among several efforts as required by changing priorities. Seeks clarification and common understanding by giving and receiving feedback, asking questions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related discipline required. Master's degree in business administration, human resources, organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology or related field preferred.
Minimum of three years' experience in performance management and job description work required. Experience in administering performance management programs, including facilitating and training. Experience in healthcare preferred, union experience helpful. Experience in strategic workforce planning. Knowledge of total rewards and job description maintenance.
