We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team.

The qualified individual must be a self-starter, organized and detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, plus the ability to work independently.

Basic Qualifications and Skills:
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, process controls, PLC’s, electronics and field instrumentation
• Familiarity with VFD’s, motors, motor control centers and motor starters
• Working knowledge of AC/DC systems
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and electrical schematics
• Knowledge of manufacturing process temperature, pressure, flow and level instrumentation
• Low voltage wiring systems experience – fire, data, phone, security
• Knowledge of electrical codes
• Experience with PLC programming – Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Modicon and G.E.
• Experience with communication networks - Ethernet, Devicenet, Profibus, Modbus, Controlnet, RS-232, RS-485
• Experience with HMI’s and SCADA development - Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, Intellution & Ignition
• Ability to create engineering drawings and electrical schematics
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
• Experience with project field startup procedures, testing and troubleshooting
• Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications
• Applies knowledge of electricity, components and materials to improve project outcomes
• Designs electrical testing methods, tests finished products and system capabilities.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviews professional publications
• Strong Project Management capabilities

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Good working knowledge of electrical construction industry
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proven communication, organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• U.S. Citizen or have legal right to work in the USA without sponsorship
• Pass a criminal background check
• Pass a drug test
• Supply verifiable references
• Be willing to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays
• Be willing to work on some out-of-town projects
