If so, do your best work with Acme Tools as a Web Developer on our innovative, fast-growing E-Commerce team!

We are looking for this role to join our team in one of the following locations: Minnesota: Plymouth, Duluth, Bemidji; North Dakota: Grand Forks, Fargo, Bismarck, Minot, Williston; Iowa: Des Moines, Cedar Rapids

What You'll Take Ownership Of: The Web Developer is responsible for web based development and support for our e-commerce platforms by:

• Design and develop multi-tier web applications for customers and internal users using Java and the various technologies incorporated into the IBM WebSphere Commerce Enterprise platform.

• Enhance and support e-commerce and mobile sites as well as sales, intranet and web applications that support business activities

• Design, develop, maintain and enhance systems based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards

• Collaborate with various departments to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications

• Monitor and optimize systems to ensure best performance

• Translate requirements and use cases into technical designs and functional code

• Monitor routine content changes and ensure accuracy of content data feeds

• Identify website issues, gather information and determine recommended solution

• Create and present multiple technical solutions that show thoughtful approaches to strategy and issue resolution

• Maintaining web development documentation, testing cases and specifications

• Act as a mentor to other developers with programming issues

• Rolling with the punches with whatever other development task comes your way

Need-To-Haves:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, web application architecture and relational database design.

• Client-side scripting experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular and jQuery a plus.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like SVN and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

• Knowledge and experience developing across multiple platforms and devices

• Functional knowledge of relational databases

• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities

• Ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to new technology changes

• Excellent communication, planning, time management, and follow-through skills

• Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and take initiative

Skills and Experience Preferred:

• 2 or more years' experience and functional knowledge with IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere Commerce, and IBM DB2 in related position

• Linux OS

• Watson Campaign Automation (formerly Silverpop Email marketing) experience preferred

* This position will be based out of any Acme Tools location in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa. At least two weeks of training out of our corporate office in Grand Forks, ND are required at the start of this position. Employment offers are contingent on drug-screen and background check.
