Team Leader - Maintenance

Maintenance is established for the purpose/s of providing maintenance services as needed and/or assigned; assisting in a wide variety of maintenance activities; addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns; and ensuring that tools, materials, vehicles, and buildings are maintained in good working order and are available when needed.

Common tasks and Responsibilities

• Works safely, following all procedures and utilizes proper safety equipment Responsible for tools and equipment in his/her work area Maintains a clean and organized work area Researches and diagnoses problems using equipment manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc. Keeps records in various computerized systems. Perform a variety of factory building maintenance (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, etc.) and industrial machinery and heavy equipment maintenance. Demonstrated competence via formal learning or training is a plus. Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Dept. Lead.

• Lift/Carry up to 70-100#. 1-10# constantly; 21-50# frequently; & 50-100# occasionally.
• In an 8 hour shift an employee can be expected to stand approximately 6 hours, walk approximately 1 hour and occasionally sit 1 hour.
• Occasionally climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Frequently stooping and push/pull.
• Constantly reaching and handling.
