Position Overview
IT Support Technicians act as an initial point of contact for end user computer related issues. Working through our service desk queue they prioritize, resolve, and escalate system issues as appropriate. Other primary duties include the configuration, repair, and maintenance of our desktop and mobile computer hardware, software, and associated peripherals.

Responsibilities
Must be able to...

• Perform desktop and laptop computer configuration and maintenance
• Provide first tier end user technical support
• Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, network and peripherals
• Monitor and remediate issues with select server systems
• Develop computer-based solutions for business needs as required
• Provide input to management for resource allocation and prioritization

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Minimum/Essential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Relevant experience or certification may be an acceptable alternative in some instances
• 0-7 years of computer service, networking, helpdesk, information technology, or other computer-related field experience
• Must be proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office

• Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen
• Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
• Ability to operate computer workstation hardware and software
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. from floor to shoulder height
• Constantly positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree in computer servicing, networking, information technology, or other computer-related field
• Base understanding of the various functions of Digi-Key and the industry Digi-Key operates in
