Job Information

The Sales Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating industry and customer information to facilitate Doosan making strategically accurate decisions to drive market share, communicate competitive advantages, and optimize sales, marketing and product directions. This position will drive the prioritization and creation of dashboards and reports across the business, leading to better monitoring of performance, cost and other metrics to help Doosan meets its revenue and share goals. The Sales Business Analyst will have a role as a data steward, ensuring the accuracy of data being used and shared. Day-to-day responsibilities will also involve activities aimed at developing the individual for a District Sales Manager territory position.

Role & Responsibility

Customer Value Proposition
  • Create communications regarding features and benefits and applications for DIPP products (market spotlights).

Product and Process Familiarization
  • Training of dealer salespeople both individually and in group situations. Duties may also include product demonstrations, participation in dealer open houses, trade shows and fairs, answering phone questions as well as participating in market research projects.

Dashboards & Reports Creation
  • Develop dashboards and reports to satisfy requests for intelligence.
  • Create reports related to competitive activity.
  • Become an expert at EDA and Salesforce report building and share knowledge.
  • Drive training programs to help field staff and dealers get up to speed on and use reports and new functionalities.

Strategic Market Analysis
  • Develop comprehensive market share and other reports for the company and conduct competitive sales analyses to help drive the execution of the company’s market segmentation, commercial spending, product development and channel strategies.


Job Requirement

  • MBA preferred
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering
  • Demonstrates the ability to analyze a large subset of data and provide recommended actions based on the concluded results.
  • Strong communication skills required to present to groups, write clear reports, and conduct surveys.
  • Knowledge of how to identify and leverage customer segment tendencies, unmet needs, product differentiators and the strengths of the competition and ability to communicate them.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
  • A background/aptitude in agricultural, construction or
  • industrial equipment
  • High degree of fluency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access
  • Must have a high level of motivation and individual initiative
  • Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently, with little supervision
  • Experience: 2>5 years
  • Travel: 25 - 50%

What skills, education, and experiences does your ideal candidate(s) have?

•Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
•These are entry level opportunities
•Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements. Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
•The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED is required.
•Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training. General instructions are given on recurring duties, operations and assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations and assignments.
