Department: 47190 Managed Care Support
Job Description: Provides leadership for business process re-design and the implementation, monitoring and improvement of business services operations including coordination, standards, education and communication for development, monitoring, and improvement of business service systems. Assigned systems may include clearinghouse, practice management, document imaging, claims scrubbers and related software. Maintains and updates various systems to support revenue services operations. Assists in the review and analysis of system issues and resolves issues with various vendors or IS to improve system effectiveness.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with preference in business, computer science or related field OR Associates degree and 2 years' experience with computer systems and health care billing and third party requirements OR 4 years relevant experience with computer systems and health care billing and third party requirements.
Licensure/CertificationQualifications:
Become proficient in practice management system within 1 year of hire into this position by completing EPIC department specific coursework.
