Qualifications
Required:
*High School Diploma/GED and four years of related office experience. Training/education may be substituted for some of the years of experience.
*Computer experience required.
*Experience in general office setting and/or post high school training with experience and skill at expert level.
*Advanced verbal, written and communications skills for public contact by telephone, by mail and in person.
*Computer skills in Microsoft Word and MS Excel Spreadsheet
*Experience and skill with composing and editing correspondence, - spelling, grammar, clarity, punctuation for correspondence and records.
*Ability to perform with competence in high-pressure situations and a rapidly changing environment, to multitask and work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize office work and coordinate with others.
*Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
*Filing, mail handling (incoming/outgoing)
Preferred:
*Skill and experience in organizing, managing and maintaining office records and procedures.
*Solid experience and background in time and project management.
*Experience supporting graduate or undergraduate student programs
*Experience scheduling meetings and small events and taking minutes in meetings
*Program experience such as PeopleSoft, Slate, Drupal
