Job Details

Performs operational, preventive, troubleshooting and corrective maintenance tasks on simulator training devices by following manufacturer manuals and company procedures. Provides technical support to maintain 14 CFR Part 60 certification of the company's flight simulators. The flight simulator technician I adheres to Cirrus Aircraft Quality Management policies.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Performs preventive maintenance following manufacturer schedule.

Performs corrective maintenance using basic troubleshooting skills

Performs pre-flight and post-flight procedures on training devices

Follows company procedures to keep maintenance records and documentation

Follows company procedures to maintain inventory records up to date

Provides customer service support in a timely and professional manner

Performs housekeeping tasks as necessary to maintain highest quality and presentation of the training devices

Performs Quality Test Guide procedures

Under supervision, provides technical support during upgrades and modifications of the training devices

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

2-year technical degree in Electronics or Computer Technology or a combination of technical education and related experience in electronics, electromechanical, computer, aviation or simulation technology.

1 to 3 years direct flight simulator technical support
