Jorgensen Land & Cattle is seeking an Agronomy Operations Team member

The Operation
Jorgensen Land & Cattle is a fourth generation family-owned and operated farm and ranch located in Ideal, South Dakota. Jorgensen Land & Cattle is a diversified operation encompassing these core enterprises: Angus and commercial seed stock production, an advanced bull leasing program, no-till crop production and commercial pheasant hunting.

As a Purebred Angus and commercial seed stock producer, Jorgensen Land & Cattle raises and markets three thousand bulls annually, most of which are marketed through our bull leasing program. The farming operation covers more than 13,000 acres in no-till crop production raising feed grains, forages and certified seed.

An agronomy operations position at JLC is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in:

Operating or tending a planter, sprayer, or air seeder
Harvesting and handling grains and forages
Assisting with other on-farm or feedlot activities when needed
Working with precision ag components

Qualifications
Experience operating tractors, seeding/spraying equipment, and trucks
Experience or knowledge of precision ag components and equipment
Must demonstrate a willingness to learn and solve problems

Position Information
Salary varies based upon experience and education
Lunch provided Monday-Friday
