Eventide Jamestown currently has an opening for a full-time Floor Care Housekeeper to work 40 hours per week. The hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday with flexibility needed. Will have an on-call rotation.

The Floor Care Housekeeper will perform floor care and housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean environment for the residents, families, and staff by following accepted policies and procedures as outlined by Eventide. This position must be able to provide safe, quality customer service while
transporting residents to appointments and activities. Will also perform other
tasks as requested.

Ideal Candidate:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid driver license and clean driving record
• Will be required to complete DOT Medical Card examination upon hire
• Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Essential Job Functions:

-Clean floors in common resident areas, staff work areas and other common areas used by staff and visitors
-Perform cleaning procedures such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows
and walls, polishing and scrubbing.
-Ensure that all work areas, equipment, and carts are kept clean, safe, and
secure.
-Familiar with all infection control and department and facility policies and
procedures that directly affect the duties of housekeeping.
-Follow all safety rules when using equipment and chemicals and reports unsafe
work areas to a supervisor.
-Maintains a positive relationship with residents, families, and staff.
-Keep all equipment clean, locked as indicated, and in a safe manner, as work
dictates.
-Assist housekeeping as needed for cleaning resident rooms.
-Transport residents to appointments and activities during on-call rotation.
