Position Overview


The Total Rewards Specialist - Wellness is responsible for performing advanced, specialized and administrative & project related duties within Total Rewards that are business focused. The Total Rewards Specialist analyzes trends and readiness to determine company's competitive position in employee rewards. Develops; recommends; and installs approved, new, or modified plans and employee benefit policies, and consults on administration of existing plans. Drives engagement in wellness plans, analyzes metrics and creates / executes action plans.

Responsibilities

  • Executes business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategy and develops and executes business processes and ensures accuracy and consistency
  • Leads special and cross-functional project teams, developing and driving cross-functional goals and objectives, acts as an internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to human resource issues relating to the assigned program or section area
  • Installs approved new plans and changes by preparing announcement material, booklets, and other media for communicating new plans to employees
  • Conducts periodic audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, presents training sessions related to the assigned program or section area
  • Perform responsibilities of a Total Rewards Specialist and HR Project Manager (as needed)
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Minimum/Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Health Management or similar area of study or equivalent, relevant work experience preferred
  • 3+ years of wellness, total rewards or program management experience preferred
  • Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen
  • Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
  • Demonstrate proven behavioral skills: a ttention to detail, communication, customer/client focus, ethical conduct, initiative, manages execution, personal effectiveness/credibility, positive attitude, problem solving, professionalism, project management, technical capacity, thoroughness & time management
Preferred Qualifications/Selection Criteria:
  • Experience leading enterprise wide initiatives
  • SHRM-CP®, SHRM-SCP®, PHR® or SPHR® Certification
