What You¿ll Take Ownership Of: 
The Accountant position plays an important role in the financial stability of a manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for:
¿    Presentation, preparation, and distribution of financial statements
¿    Financial planning and forecasting for our organization
¿    Monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining accounting system accuracy
¿    Assisting in compiling various government and industry reporting
¿    Problem-solving a variety of organization-wide financial matters, including: invoicing problems, inventory accuracy, procurement
¿    Overseeing accounting procedures to ensure compliance with regulations 
¿    Managing multiple projects simultaneously
¿    Working individually and in a team to complete a wide variety of projects for the organization 
¿    Performing other related duties as assigned
 

Must have minimum requirements:

¿    A minimum of 4+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience
¿    Bachelor¿s Degree in Accounting
¿    Prior ERP systems experience
¿    Exceptional business acumen; analytical, forecasting, reporting, and organizational skills
¿    Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and develop data into workable models and projections, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
¿    Ability to keep a high degree of confidentiality of information 
¿    Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and support business decision-making 
¿    Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
¿    Must be energetic, motivated, and adaptable to progress-based change 

Preferred;
¿    Valid CPA credentials
¿    Proven experience working with a retail or similar business as a staff Accountant 
¿    Tool and equipment industry career background
