Position Summary:

This position provides support to commercial lending and sales staff in efficiently reviewing loan requests and servicing existing credit relationships. This position is responsible for managing a centralized administrative process for the receipt and distribution of financial information needs for the commercial credit portfolio; accountable for commercial file reviews and following retention procedures of financial information thereof; accountable for the sending out correspondence for financial information needs of commercial loan borrowers and guarantors and insurance providers; accountable for serving the reporting needs of commercial loan underwriters by ordering and receiving appraisals, title work, flood determinations, credit bureau reports, Dunn & Bradstreet reports, and UCC-11 lien searches.. This positions acts as the primary liaison between commercial credit staff and the records department. This position is an administrator of various software application systems and generates and delivers all system reports to the team.

Essential Responsibilities:

Job Function Number 1: Support commercial loan and sales staff by managing financial statement information needs and monitoring requirements of credit portfolio. 80%
  • Process incoming electronic mail for credit team.
  • Monitor annual credit review needs to manage information requirements.
  • Perform file review to confirm accuracy of ticklers as needed per annual review requirements; ensure imaged documents are retained according to procedures.
  • Assess information received through account monitoring systems and communicate findings to Underwriters and Analysts as appropriate.
  • Manage the information flow associated with purchased and sold participation loans. This includes among other things the forwarding of credit presentations and supporting borrower information.
  • At the direction of assigned Underwriters process advance request to include requests on floor plan and construction loans.
  • Ensure ticklers are updated for received information in the Nautilus system and inform users upon receipt of the information.
  • Generate client information request letters utilizing tickler system.
  • Order and receive necessary third-party reports: UCC-11 lien searches, personal credit bureau reports, Dunn & Bradstreet reports.
  • Process Dunn & Bradstreet Alert Services Notices and inform underwriters of changes.
  • Process all real estate related orders such as appraisals, valuations, title work, and flood determinations.
  • Perform initial and secondary commercial insurance follow-up on expired policies and handoff to Relationship Manager and Underwriter when necessary.

Job Function Number 2: Assist in administrative tasks within the credit department. 20%
  • Perform administrator tasks of Baker Hill Bank2Business and Sageworks software systems.
  • Generate all reports out of the B2B and Sageworks systems and distribute to users.
  • Assist in Credit department projects or tasks as requested by Manager.



Position Requirements:

Qualifications:
  • College degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred; or equivalent experience working with commercial loans or business accounting or records systems.
  • Working knowledge of computer software programs with specific emphasis on spreadsheet and word processing programs.

Physical Demands: (must be met with or without a reasonable accommodation)
  • Extended periods of time sitting at a desk and using office equipment.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer/laptop for approximately 8 hours per day.
  • Extended time is spent reviewing physical and electronic documents.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • Periodically, may also do light lifting of supplies and materials which weighs in at approximately 20 lbs.
  • Will spend most of time in an indoor environment.
