Custodian / Maintenance Associate

This position is responsible for custodial maintenance of distribution center areas and assisting in the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Routine cleaning of distribution center areas – including restrooms, lunch rooms, entryways, hard-surfaced and carpeted floors.
• Removal of snow and debris from sidewalks.
• Maintain, restock and submit purchase order requisition for custodial supplies.
• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as needed.
• Observe building conditions and take necessary actions to maintain and/or repair.

 
Requirements

• Ability to use all types of power equipment.
• Ability to use all types of automatic and power cleaning equipment.
• Ability to certifiably operate a forklift.
• Knowledge of commercial housekeeping and maintenance. 
• CDL preferred (Class B minimum).
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability and willingness to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability and willingness to work with heights up to 25ft.
• Ability to bend, lift, push, pull, carry and perform repetitive motion in the performance of job duties.
