Financial Aid Processor

Position Description:
The areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with the policies and procedures associated with the Institutional Student Informational Records ( ISIR ), assist with the verification process, maintain and process ISIR computer data, provide advice and guidance related to FAFSA inquiries and prepare appropriate correspondence to students and parents.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years college or related work experience
• 2 years proven, strong customer service experience
• Working knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), word processing (MS Word) and the Web
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and make independent decisions
• Proven ability to work as a team member possessing strong interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated, self-starter
• Focused and results oriented
• Ability to meet expectations in a fast-paced and dynamic, customer-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in a higher education or customer confidential-sensitive area
• Working knowledge of student records or financial software (PeopleSoft)
