Job Details
The therapy aide assists physical, occupational, and speech therapists to organize and carry out appropriate therapy programs for individual clients in accordance with current federal, state and facility standards, guidelines, and regulations. The incumbent contributes to the overall function and smooth performance of day to day operations in the therapy areas as the aid supports the therapy and education plans for individuals to achieve maximum growth and achievement.

This position will meet the following minimum requirements:
- This position requires a high school diploma or GED. The therapy aide is primarily trained on the job and through professional seminars or in-services.
Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience and/or knowledge of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services.
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Previous experience working with therapy equipment, such as but not limited to, wheelchairs, standers, communication devices, etc.
