HR Specialist

PAYmasters, Inc. is growing and seeking a highly motivated and talented HR Specialist to add to our team. This position is a full-time, day position providing HR Assistance to our clients. The position requires a self-starter with knowledge of federal and state labor laws. The ability to multi-task with excellent interpersonal skills is essential. The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality is required.

Preference will be given to those that have experience with:

• Maintaining HRIS system by updating and entering data
• Safety training
• Unemployment claims
• Benefits Administration
• Payroll
• Compiling reports and spreadsheets
• Participating in recruitment efforts
• Scheduling job interviews and assisting in interview process
• Screening resumes
• Performing reference and background checks

• Passion, commitment and a sense of urgency while keeping in mind the big picture
• Confidence in one abilities/capabilities and comfortable making recommendations on new and innovative ideas
• Organized and analytical, with good follow through
• Maintain high level of confidentiality

Demonstrated proficiency in the following Skills:

• Oral and written communication
• Time Management
• Proficiency with technology (e.g. personal computers / laptops and associated programs--Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Education & Experience:

• Associates degree in Human Resources, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Human Resources: 2 years
