Veterinary Technician Instructor

An instructor’s primary purpose is to design instruction and assessment in an engaging environment to foster learner success. An instructor continually improves the overall quality in the delivery of learning to support the achievement of College outcomes and priorities utilizing evidence to support decision-making.

Qualifications
1. Associates degree in Veterinary Technology or related degree plus current Wisconsin Certified Clinical Veterinarian Technician (CVT) license or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree plus current WI DVM license. 
2. A minimum of 2 years (4,000 hours) occupational experience 
3. Previous teaching experience preferred.
4. Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures. 
5. Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications. 
6. Excellent interpersonal skills in working with a variety of constituencies including students, faculty and staff.
7. Ability to obtain driver’s license and insurance coverage in accordance with College policy.
