Job Summary

Responsible for aligning enterprise business objectives, policies, and philosophies with employees and leaders in our Customer Experience locations. This position will serve as a subject matter expert in HR practices and will act as a consultant/partner to support and provide value added services to management and employees that reflect the overall business objectives of the organization. This position will provide support and oversight of talent acquisition, total compensation, and talent retention initiatives while both representing division uniqueness and assuring alignment to higher-level enterprise requirements and programs that foster a "One Company, One Team" philosophy at Cirrus Aircraft. The SRHRBP will have a high level of business acumen, understand multi-location opportunities, ensure compliance to local, state and federal laws, and have the ability to navigate and support both enterprise and division initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
  • Provide advice and counsel to management and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures, and practices. Investigate concerns and work with corporate HR and legal teams on responses.
  • Partner with corporate HR team members to effectively lead divisional human resource processes including the following: workforce planning, annual reviews (performance/succession planning), compensation administration, organizational change/effectiveness, implementation of process improvements, recognition, staffing and pipeline development.
  • Coordinate with corporate Learning and Development to ensure that appropriate training opportunities are provided to employees to further personal, career, and organizational development.
  • Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment driving employee engagement which encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities; act as an employee advocate; help drive various corporate and division business initiatives including development and execution of a communication rhythm to ensure that effective two-way communication takes place
  • Work with corporate compliance and legal personnel to ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of HR including ensuring that our affirmative action program is kept current and that all employees adhere to guidelines of this program.
  • Partner with business leaders to assure successful deployment of talent acquisition, talent retention, employee engagement, leadership development, communication, and total compensation initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to site leaders and/or direct reports that fosters a high-performance workforce and assures compliance with local, state and federal laws.
  • Support employee relations processes including conducting investigations, administering disciplinary action and preparing corrective action responses as needed.
  • Administer corporate policies fairly and consistently, and in conjunction with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Execute processes within the HR function to ensure that we are delivering world class employee relations and organizational development.
  • Provide tactical and strategic HR generalist leadership. Utilize experience to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and have the ability to affect both short-term and long-term business goals.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organization development, human services, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum seven years progressive Human Resources experience required; minimum two years in a leadership role. Professional certification a plus.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and verbal presentation skills.
  • Able to work with and influence business partners at all levels.
  • Ability to balance role as employee advocate and business partner while maintaining neutrality and credibility with the organization.
  • Experience providing input into and driving creative programs to attract and engage employees.
  • Possess accurate and updated knowledge of Federal and State laws applicable to wages, hours, working conditions, safety, employee relations, etc. to ensure compliance with state and federal legal requirements
  • Flexible, team player with the ability to make sound decisions and multi task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite Products.
  • Experience utilizing Human Capital Management System; UltiPro preferred.
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time
