Forum Communications is hiring a full-time Advertising Operations Specialist responsible for executing, monitoring and optimizing digital advertising campaigns. This position will be a liaison to the advertising department with regard to digital advertising and technology needs. Other responsibilities include:
  • Execute digital marketing strategies (SEM, email, social media, native, video and display advertising campaigns) to drive traffic and conversions on client websites.
  • Analyze data and manage budgets, pacing and client performance to goals.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Monitor campaign activity and pacing to ensure campaigns are running smoothly.
  • Test the performance of ad creative, landing page design, beta opportunities, and other campaign elements to improve results.
  • Build systems and protocols internally that ensure digital marketing is optimized across all platforms.
  • Perform trafficking/QA of digital campaigns through DoubleClick For Publishers.
  • Implement ad tags and load digital creative in multiple software platforms.
  • Troubleshoot ad hoc client ad tags, tracking, and reporting issues.
  • Assist with new business projects and vendor implementations from beginning to end.
  • Communicate technical solutions for tracking and campaign management to a nontechnical audience.
  • Learn new technologies and tools as needed (A/B testing, cross-device targeting).


Position Requirements
  • One year experience in a related position.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Ability to learn quickly and solidly grasp technical training and learn specialized software.
  • Able to function well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment that often includes multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Self-motivated individual that is proactive in anticipating problems and identifying solutions with excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Gmail, and Google Suite products.
  • Knowledge of DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) is a bonus.
  • Strong understanding of online advertising and a desire to learn new technology.
