Operations Manager
Overview: Butler Machinery is a third generation family-owned company, proudly serving our communities since 1955. Our mission is to build long term relationships with our customers, founded on trust, generating mutual growth and success.

Responsibility:

•Works with CEO, Ag and Caterpillar Business Managers to set company strategy and objectives.
•Oversees and maintains operating procedures for 6 branch locations in Eastern ND. Drives consistency.
•Directly and through subordinate managers, oversees market penetration, profitability goals and facility management.
•Ensures the establishment of a safe and clean work environment for all associates by promoting BMC safety culture for all associates.
•Promotes relationships with BMC's major suppliers.
•Provides guidance to management team and assists them in resolving various department and customer challenges.
•Analysis of monthly financial statements, market share and KPI's.
•Resolves any customer disputes that could not be resolved at the store level.
•Works with managers to create goals, process improvements, determining staffing needs and assessing training and development needs.
•Encourages and monitors career development and performance of store employees to include conducting performance reviews as needed but no less than annually.
•Actively participate in industry and community related associations and events.
•Establishes relationships with senior management staff with key customers.
•Supervises Store Managers for designated region.
•Supervises regional support staff such as Sales Coordinators, and Demo Operators.
•Organizes, communicates, and delegates responsibilities and priorities to subordinate Managers to ensure the successful operation of the region.
•Provides regular and timely feedback that recognizes employee performance, motivating employees and promoting self-development.
•Selects, trains and develops employees consistent with BMC goals and fosters employee career development.
•Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BM.
•Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in business or industry related field preferred with management experience required or equivalent experience, training and background.
•Previous branch management experience preferred
•Leadership training required
•Demonstrated ability to work with people
•Good oral and written communications skills
•Accounting and Finance skills
•Negotiating skills
•Ability to coach, counsel, and confront
•Equipment/Industry knowledge
•Good computer knowledge with experience in Microsoft Suite
