Job Summary:

The Supervisor, Reverse Logistics is a customer support administration position responsible for oversight of part returns and supplier warranty management. This position is the primary contact point for all parts returned to Cirrus and core returns from the field along with filing and managing warranty claim coverage with suppliers. Experience with inventory control, ERP navigation, warehouse operations and supplier interaction are required for this position. As our fleet grows, this part of our business grows also, and is critical in keeping our authorized service center network accounts accurate and in keeping credits issued to Cirrus from suppliers. This is a working supervisory role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure day-to-day operations in the Part Returns area of the warehouse are moving smoothly and consistently forward
  • Maintain and report on daily, weekly and monthly metrics related to the health of the area.
  • Enter and transact return material authorizations, issue purchase orders, review and audit inventory levels.
  • Enter supplier warranty claims and prepare shipments for warranty return.
  • Check in returned goods from the Cirrus Authorized Service Center network.
  • Liaison between external customers (aircraft owners, service centers, etc.) and internal customers (Purchasing, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, etc.)
  • This role may specialize in returns and reverse logistics, however, cross-functional capacity, support, and knowledge is an essential aspect of the position
  • Look for opportunities in continuous improvement in process and efficiencies to better support our Cirrus Direct™ parts program and Authorized Service Center network.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.


Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent degree. 2-3 years' experience in warehousing and/or reverse logistics preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of warranty process to include: part ordering, troubleshooting authorization, claim submission, part returns/reverse logistics, accounting credit, and check issue
  • Thorough knowledge of ERP: understand the philosophy, principles, system definition, and software implementations of Cirrus ERP system (procurement, manufacturing planning, inventory control, and accounting)
  • Familiarization with Salesforce: understand the philosophy, principles, system definition, and software implementations of Cirrus use of our Salesforce CRM system (customer and account management, case logging, activity history, aircraft history, etc…)
  • Customer knowledge: understand all customer types, stakeholders and the needs and expectations of each.
  • Continuous Improvement Orientation: generates and uses creative ideas to improve processes and services; adapts to change; works in an organized manner; uses time efficiently; and displays a positive outlook.
  • Technical Skill Development: pursues training and professional development; and strives to continuously build knowledge and skills and share expertise with others
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
