Job Summary:

Our team of Field Service Representatives provides aircraft support to 7000+ Cirrus customer/owners and over 200 Cirrus Authorized Service Centers located throughout the United States and around the world. Field Support Representatives also provide warranty authorizations within the policy guidelines of Cirrus Aircraft and its vendors, while maintaining the ability and authority to make decisions outside of policy in the interest of customer satisfaction. In addition, our team assists owners and pilots with operations and maintenance questions and concerns, as well as coordinating AOG support, parts, and repairs to return the aircraft to service as soon as possible. This support is provided primarily by email and telephone, however domestic or international travel may occasionally be required 1- 3 times per year.

Essential Duties:
  • Provide technical support and advice to internal and external technicians, customers, owners, and pilots.
  • Provide world class level of customer service as we work to resolve technical and logistical issues related to customer & aircraft.
  • Prioritize and respond to email and phone requests for support in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate, research, take responsibility for, and resolve complicated technical issues.
  • Evaluate and provide warranty authorizations outside of normal policies.
  • Coordinate internal and external support to resolve AOG issues as quickly as possible.
  • Act as liaison between engineering and service centers/technicians.
  • Provide afterhours/weekend support approximately 5 times per year on a rotating schedule.

Education/Experience:
  • Minimum 2-year degree with an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or equivalent experience favorable.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience on Cirrus Aircraft.
  • Garmin, Continental Motors, Lycoming, and/or Williams International training or experience is required.
  • Availability to work 12 hour days on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Additional Knowledge, skills, or abilities:
  • Familiar with FARs and techniques, practices, equipment and tools to perform aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Possess advanced or expert knowledge on Cirrus Aircraft airframe, powerplant, avionics, or electrical systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, able to think outside the box.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong mechanical and analytical aptitude with an aviation background.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work unsupervised.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and training.


Certifications or Licensures:
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
  • FCC license for Avionics acceptable in place of Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
  • Inspection Authorization desirable but not required.
  • FAA Private Pilot Certificate desirable but not required.
