Job Summary:

The Cirrus team is seeking a highly-motivated, creative and detail-orientated person who is ready to apply their aviation and education expertise to the exciting challenges of Cirrus Aircraft Maintenance training design and development. The Maintenance Training Developer / Instructor will deliver, manage and grow our global training curriculum and learning content for the SR-series and SF- series Cirrus aircraft. This person will drive the future of aviation education by providing quality maintenance instruction and developing innovative learning solutions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

As a Maintenance Training Developer and Instructor, you're a part of the Cirrus Field Support team which helps our ASC partners and mechanics support and maintain the Cirrus Aircraft global fleet. This is accomplished by collaborating with a cross-functional group of specialists to support our global network of maintenance partners. You will specialize in curriculum design, development and delivery for maintaince of both SR and SF series of Cirrus aircraft. Alongside curriculum design and development, you will play a key role as a SR & SF-series subject matter expert for all training content production. For this reason, you'll work closely with factory engineers, field reps, mechanics and pilots in product discovery activities.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Aviation and/or Education.

Current A & P license.

5+ years of maintenance and repair of Cirrus Aircraft

SF50 maintenance experience preferred

Current US passport or ability to obtain one

Demonstrated Proficiencies/Skills/Abilities:

Proven ability to drive amazing learning experiences and results through implementation of accepted teaching methods.

Highly-skilled at identifying training needs, then inventing creative training solutions to meet those needs.

Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to write clear and accurate technical documents describing processes and standards.

Proven ability in developing and managing training curriculum, preferred.
