JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing timely, accurate information and tools to appropriate end-users through a variety of data sources. Responsibilities include ensuring projects contain information required to create in-depth analytics that contribute towards informed decisions regarding care and fiscally responsible management of all populations the organization serves.
The Report Developer designs and processes projects of varying complexities in collaboration with customers. Duties include coordinating activities with Information Systems' staff and other departments and to ensure that information is accurate and accessible to end users. Continuously searches for opportunities of automating manual processes and developing on-demand tools for descriptive data.
Work well with other members of a team. Conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times. Ability to write and verbally communicate in English in a legible and understandable manner and be comfortable with communicating information to others.
Willing to learn computer programs and applications necessary for data collection. Willing to make independent and timely decisions when circumstances warrant. Possess the ability to deal effectively with personnel, regulatory agencies, and the general public. Ability to conceptualize the abstract. Collect and organize detailed information. Demonstrate patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as willingness and ability to handle difficult situations. Willing to seek out new information and knowledge and be willing to embrace new responsibilities and change.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Applies basic human factors and concepts for the design of effective screens and reports. Exhibits interest in new ideas and experimentation. Learns new concepts, processes and tools related to own immediate responsibilities. Provides direct service to internal or external customers. Participates in reviewing compliance with governance policies and guidelines. Supports the mission, vision, and objectives of own department or unit. Fulfills routine information capture needs in own area. Helps link organizational objectives to customer needs and expectations. Generates and interprets basic statistical data. Assists in preparing charts, graphs, tables, and other tools to reflect business performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data science, computer science, statistics, or STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, Math) related majors required.
Experience with computerized data retrieval tools is required. Past experience commensurate with area of responsibility preferred.
EPIC Data Model Certification in specified application required within the first year of employment.
