Job Details
The Associate Director of Operations for Customer Account Services oversees the daily operations including management of software, assessment of tuition, fees and other charges, management of the financial aid refunding, analysis and reconciliation of data, ensuring NDSU's compliance with PCI / DSS regulations, and supervision of the Student Finance and TouchNet staff. The Associate Director directly interacts with other departments and the North Dakota University System. In addition the position assists the Director with special projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3 years of experience in an accounting or business related position which includes reconciliation experience
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of accounting and reconciliations
• Highly proficient with MS Excel and Word
• In depth experience and aptitude in the use of functional software
• Organizational and leadership skills with the capability to work with and motivate others
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• CPA or MBA
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions
• Supervisory experience
• Knowledge of higher education business processes
