JOB SUMMARY

The HR Technology Senior Specialist will provide administrative support to the Human Resources (HR) technology portfolio including basic functional maintenance of existing applications and involvement in new projects. Participate and provide first-level support and maintenance in Information Technology (IT), Center of Experts (COEs), Human Resources Strategic Partners (HRSPs) and Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) with all new HR technology implementations.
Serve as a support role for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts and analysts with ensuring data integrity, report writing and analyzing data requirements. Participate in running of recurring HRIS processes and entry of HR data on a needed basis. Perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate
methods to meet requirements.
Assess release features and support projects to adopt new functionality or change existing processes. Support testing efforts (e.g., regression testing). Ensure compliance with
corporate data administration, security standards, HR policies, and procedures. Ability to handle confidential information, while regularly performing data audits, and validations, as necessary.
Assist in fulfilling data requests in a timely manner. Ability to work effectively with end users in order to understand and gather business requirements. Provide strong customer
service. Recognize, as appropriate, any escalated HR technology cases in line with service level agreements and designate when needed.
Participate in planning, analyzing, and development of business requirements for HRIS modifications and enhancements. Develop and test job aids to support the HRIS team and activities for functional users. Establish and maintain procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
Develops competence by performing structure work assignments. Seek out new assignments to learn and demonstrate willingness to develop skills. Keep up with current and new HR technology and trends for individual development. Regularly contributes useful ideas for own work area/team within defined parameters.
Demonstrate analytical skills. Strong attention to detail. Strong communication, interpersonal, and listening skills. Ability to deal with ambiguity. Work as a team member and collaborate effectively with other members while fostering and maintaining positive relationships.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

-Support workforce software applications in collaboration with the HR Technology Analysts.
-Enter appropriate data into the software applications.
-Maintain application configurations and domain structures.
-Maintain working knowledge of utility tools (i.e. TMU, DSU) and system interfaces (i.e. Lawson, GSDS, IDF, ODF, Broadbean).
-Maintain and support software application standards and documentation for various levels of users.
-Maintain and increase functional knowledge of application, related software, HR and learning technology industry trends. Collaborate with technology analysts on software application upgrades, patch releases and hot fixes.
-Conduct quality assurance reviews and checks as needed.
-Collaborate with technology analysts to perform data analysis to inform adoption and usage.
-Collaborate with the business to determine methods and processes to ensure end user adoption and compliance with the application and its associated processes.
-Collaborate with Technology Analysts in working with software application vendors on outstanding support issues.
-Submit and track system application issues to ensure prompt resolution by software vendors or other third-party vendors.
-Test new/upgraded software and hardware through standard testing procedures and analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Computer Science, Information Management or related discipline.
One year of experience in implementing and supporting technology systems with experience in Human Resources and Learning systems preferred. Experience in Healthcare and/or Insurance industry helpful.
