Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as a Marketing Coordinator in Tulsa, OK might include the following:
  • Works with regional marketing manager and office partner-in-charge to help create marketing plans for assigned territories.
  • Supports the implementation and execution of office marketing plans, including tracking and follow-up.
  • Collaborates with industry and service marketing managers to deliver on campaigns in local geography, as well as contributes to needs that support the larger industry/service groups.
  • Helps to research and assemble target lists while using guidance from marketing managers.
  • Supports partners and managers on the creation/implementation of individual marketing plans, holds quarterly meetings for follow up and helps tie their plans into the strategies in the local office.
  • Schedules meetings, events, etc. with referral sources or potential clients as requested by partners/managers, leading coordination and follow up.
  • Manages event logistics for seminars, receptions, tradeshows, and other local events.
  • Acts as a liaison to office industry committees and supports their efforts through research of potential targets and opportunities to strengthen industry emphasis.
  • Assists partners/managers with registering for meetings, events and conferences; and coordinates with event organizer as needed to ensure our materials, booth and proper staff are on hand at the right times.
  • Facilitates office's Ambassador Program, as well as other local marketing-related training needs.
  • Collaborates with Corporate Communications team to order appropriate giveaways, materials and promotional items for local marketing needs.
  • Maintains and updates the marketing materials (collateral) housed in the local office locations.
  • Serves as a back-up to the proposal team, as needed.
  • Supports updates to professional profiles by providing writing and editing assistance as requested.

 

Who You Are
  • You have 3+ years of marketing experience in a marketing or administrative role. (Preferably working in a professional services firm.)
  • You have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 10 (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • You have knowledge of CRM and exporting data from sources such as Salesforce, GuideStar and other research platforms.
  • You have the ability to edit/proofread written materials including proposals, presentations and related documents.
  • You have excellent interpersonal, organizational, follow-up and client service skills.
  • You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, managing multiple competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • You have a team-focused mindset with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and co-workers.
  • In addition to all of this, you possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration or related experience in lieu of a degree.

Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
