Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification:  $38,000 plus/year, Benefited, Exempt
Benefits: Includes single or family health care coverage, basic life insurance, EAP, retirement plan, tuition waiver, annual and sick leave.  Optional benefits available: supplemental life, dental, vision, flexible spending account, supplemental retirement plans. 
Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM; may require some nights and weekends.

The purpose of the position is:

  • To manage the Customer Relations Management (CRM) database and other systems, ensuring the operational and planning functions of recruitment for graduate and undergraduate students, including online and distance education, by monitoring, troubleshooting and ensuring accurate data is entered into the CRM and application systems, and exported for analysis and communication follow-up.
  • Responsibility for communications extracted from the PeopleSoft system that would be used for letters and mailings. 
  • Maintain and monitor the prospect management systems including system upgrades (currently TargetX, Salesforce, PeopleSoft, Perceptive Content and Veera), including building/implementing communications plans, building fields to hold data and filters for extracting data, and providing information as requested. The selected candidate will enter and upload data from a variety of sources.
  • Work in conjunction with all other Academic Affairs units to meet the mission and strategic goals of the University of North Dakota and the Division of Academic Affairs.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the communications/data staff.
  • Provide general office assistance.

Minimum Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management or Communications or related major
  • Three years experience working in an office setting
  • Two years of experience in data management and/or related experience.
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Successful completion of Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Experience with  database systems, reporting and email marketing best practices.
  • Two years of experience in a university setting.
